Electronic Video Exchange, otherwise known as
EVE. EVE is manufactured by Amtelco. Amtelco is
the leader in call center call technology. All
the messages are captured in a main frame computer.
Each of our clients are given a phone number,
(a D.I.D number, direct inward dial). Most clients
call forward their existing business number to
the number given. If you are a new company you
can publish the number given to you. Each account
has up to 8 pages of information for the operators
to properly handle your calls. Every account has
their own unique answer phrase so your callers
know they have reached the people they are calling.
Our Voicemail system is integrated into the EVE
system. A Benefits of this integration is “custom
auto answer”. This is a recording stating
who they have reached and lets them know an operator
will be with them shortly. If we cannot get to
the call within 2 rings it goes to the “custom
auto answer”. Many offices use the “auto
answer” as a tool. To give office hour or
general information for the callers. If the recording
gives enough information to your caller and they
do not come to an operator, there is no charge
for the call.

work through calls. Giving the operators the most
important information to handle the call properly
