Call 24 Communications, Inc core business is
and always will be Answering Service. Call 24
Communications, Inc started in 1977 started with
2 switchboards. We now have leading edge call
center technology. There is a
mainframe computer, email capabilities, internet
connections, and much more to efficiently serve
you. The name of the Computer system that handles
all of the calls is called Electronic Video Exchange,
otherwise known as EVE. Amtelco is the leader
in call center and call technology. All the messages
are captured in a main frame computer. Each of
our clients are given a phone number, (a D.I.D
number, direct inward dial). Most clients call
forward their existing business number to that
number. If you are a new company you can publish
the number. Each account has up to 8 pages of
information for the operators to properly handle
your calls. Every account has their own unique
answer phrase so your callers know they have reached
the people they are calling.
Our Voicemail system is integrated into the
EVE system. One of the Benefits of this integration
is the “custom auto answer”. If we
cannot get to the call within 2 rings it goes
to “custom auto answer”. This is a
recording that you can record if you would like
to. Its usually will state who the caller has
reached and lets them know an operator will be
with them shortly. Many offices use the “auto
answer” as a tool. Such as to give office
hours or general information for the callers.
If the recording gives enough information to your
caller and they do not come to an operator, there
is no charge for the call.

from new operators
After the calls are handled, we have several
different ways to give you your messages. Many
clients have us fax or e mail them. This can be
set up automatically to send them art specified
times. You can “check in” and request
your messages to be faxed/e mail. Another way
to pick up messages is on a voice mail. We call
this Voicemail message retrieval.
The operators take the calls live but instead
of you calling in and having an operator read
the message, we put the message on a voicemail.
You call into the voicemail and pick them up at
your leisure. This helps to speed up the check
in time for both you and the operators.
Eve as a whole is designed to quickly and efficiently
work through calls. Giving the operators the most
important information to handle the call properly
in a neat and organized fashion.
